GNTW registration from 6:30 at BFAC September 29 – October 01
Cooroy Future Group in partnership with the National Trust Queensland will be assuming management rights for the Great Noosa Trail Walk in 2019. The Cooroy Future Group have been a keen supporter of the event since inception. Jim Ennis (CFG), Libby Hoskin and Jonathon Fisher have all been volunteers and participants on the walk and very enthusiastic. They have committed to maintaining the strong community involvement.

Its fortunate that we have had a wet autumn in Noosa County and unlike the rest of Queensland nowhere near as quite as dry as other areas.
We also do have a hiccup at the Cooran Rec Club as they no longer have a licence for Sunday nights. Working on lateral and creative solutions at moment to ensure walkers can enjoy a refreshing beverage at the end of the day!
There has also been a landslip on Sister Tree Creek Road meaning the walkers may have to walk partly on the road. We are looking at traffic control options to manage this part of the route. This will be scoped in advance to ensure all safe.
