Wednesday October 17 was the Cooroy Future Group AGM. It was a successful afternoon with the meeting chaired by John Cantwell.
In attendance from council were Mayor Tony Wellington just back from a well needed holiday in Europe, and Deputy Mayor Frank Wilkie who is the council representative on the board.
The photo of us at the meeting was taken of the ordinary board meeting before the AGM which was the last one that I – Duncan Macqueen – chaired as President. Carol Watkins has now taken that position and we all wish her well and look forward to working with her.
It has been a great year for me, the CFG team, Fusion committee, BFAC staff and Volunteers who all have made this a year of considerable growth both at the BFAC and the Fusion Festival which is now Chaired by Jim Ennis following the resignation of the former Chair, Chris Bell. I must add here that Chris did a great job for Fusion and we wish him well in his new position as Vice President of the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce.
